Paediatric cancer detection and treatment in Indonesia continue to be plagued with many challenges. Although parents’ awareness of the dangers of childhood cancer is increasing, cancer treatment in Indonesia is far from perfect.

LOVE, NILS, a prominent charity focused on providing holistic support for children with cancer, is gearing up for its annual gala fundraiser this Saturday at the Shangri-La Singapore. 

The Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS Medicine) broke new ground on 30 August 2023 by launching the George and Jennifer Yeo Professorship in Paediatric Oncology. 

Named in honour of influential Singaporean couple George and Jennifer Yeo, this professorship aims to dramatically improve the treatment outcomes for children with cancer, not just in Singapore but across Asia. The launch event was held at The Fullerton yesterday evening. 

Paediatric Brain and Solid Tumour Awareness is an annual event to generate awareness, provide support, and create a platform for affected patients and families to interact with one another.
