Singapore Doctors Bring Free Eye Surgery to Laos

“Doctors and nurses from Singapore National Eye Centre recently travelled to Laos, where they screened more than 500 patients and performed 150 free cataract surgeries. This mission not only restored vision to underserved patients but also addressed long-term eye care needs in Laos through training and collaboration as a WHO Collaborating Centre.
