CytoMed Therapeutics has developed a revolutionary new cancer treatment that uses modified white blood cells from healthy donors to recognize and destroy cancer cells. If successful, the treatment could lead to more efficient and accessible CAR-T cell therapies for a range of solid and blood cancers.

Nasopharyngeal cancer is a rare type of cancer that affects the nasopharynx, the upper part of the throat behind the nose. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nasopharyngeal cancer is most common in Southern China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Malaysia. In these regions, the incidence rate is around 25 to 50 cases per 100,000 people per year.
