Singapore, (17 September 2025) — Against the stunning backdrop of the Marina Bay skyline, the IHH Healthcare X Singapore Sea Regatta (IHHSSR) 2025 welcomed over 2,000 attendees including dragon boat teams from Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Sponsored by IHH Healthcare, the event united sports, wellness, and community spirit with a shared purpose, bringing this year’s healthcare theme on mental health to the forefront.
Guest of Honour, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, graced the event and participated in the Minister’s Cup, sharing his support to promote mental wellbeing both locally and beyond.

The two-day festival energised visitors through the 10K Pull-Up Challenge, AIA Active Challenge, and Therapin activities. Attendees received expert guidance at the Parkway Rehab Sports Recovery Zone and Urban Reset by Switch on recovery and mindfulness. The Partner Zone showcased vital initiatives from title sponsor IHH Healthcare, Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), Singapore Red Cross, Brahm Centre, Counselling & Care Centre, Orchid Park Secondary School, Promises Healthcare, and EQUAL (miniature ponies).
Festival goers enjoyed live entertainment from Aeona, Qara Rosa, Kai and Bite Size Theatre Productions amongst others, and the opportunity to shop for exclusive merchandise.
Thoughtful conversations around mental health took center stage. Sessions like Breaking Stigma, Inspiring Change, Overcoming Adversities, and Achieving Work-Life Balance for Mental Health brought together influencers, youth advocates, psychiatrists, and psychologists. These discussions offered practical strategies, inspired empathy, and encouraged attendees to openly engage with their wellbeing – turning dialogue into action.
A diverse range of wellness workshops provided hands-on experiences, from high-energy spin classes by Minmed, clay coaster-making with Konnection, conversation circles by Unbound SG, to a Sunset Sound Bath led by Dawn Sim, allowing participants to reconnect with their mind and body.

The dragon boat races delivered excitement and unity, with competitors across Premier, Healthcare, Youth and Cancer Survivor categories. Meanwhile, the mixed-team Rojak Race which celebrated teamwork and inclusivity.
The festival raised over SGD $15,000 for the SAMH, with organisers noting strong commitment from both local and international participants.
IHHSSR underscores the transformative power of sport, community, and conversation, leaving a lasting impact on health advocacy in Singapore.
