Kuala Lumpur, October 26 2024 – His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, presided over today’s opening of the Malaysia International Healthcare (MIH) Megatrends 2024.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad and Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil welcomed His Majesty when he arrived at 10 a.m.
Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa, the secretary-general of the Communications Ministry, Datuk Seri Suriani Ahmad, the secretary-general of the Health Ministry, and Tan Sri Dr. Ismail Bakar, the chairman of KPJ Healthcare Bhd and the chair of the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission, were also present.

The keynote and opening speech was given by the Chairman of KPJ Healthcare Berhad Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Ismail Bakar and the Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad.
Sultan Ibrahim visited the exhibition area for around half an hour after the opening ceremony, interacting with attendees and exhibitors.
More than 1,500 people attend the three-day event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, which includes more than 100 exhibitors from both the public and private sectors.
Healthcare professionals, business executives, and legislators come together at the MIH Megatrends Conference. The conference started yesterday, and aims to promote innovations and solutions in the healthcare field.
The conference will continue until Sunday, October 27, 2024.
