The Department of Health-Center for Health Development in Bicol (DOH CHD-5) announced a 92% treatment success rate for tuberculosis (TB) cases for Q1 2024. Dr Mahendran also stated that many private practitioners use unethical advertisements on social media offering discounts, packages, and freebies. According to the Private Healthcare and Facilities and Services Act 2018, these advertisements are prohibited.
