Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre recently hosted the 3rd Edition of Selangor International Expo MEDIC 2023.
Thousands attended the four-day event, which took place from 19 to 22 October. The event was part of the 7th Selangor International Business Summit, including the 9th Selangor International Food & Beverage Expo and more.
Industries Collide
What made this expo unique? Firstly, it’s the preeminent medical event in Malaysia and was graced by thousands of leading professionals in the industry. Additionally, it is a confluence of expos of different industries, from healthcare, food & beverage, innovation, technology and more. The combination made it a mega exhibition featuring thousands of brands and companies.
YB Deputy Minister MITI, YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong graced the event, who toured the venue and interacted with the exhibitors.
International Expertise: The Organiser
The brains behind this ambitious project is Invest Selangor. They are the investment arm of the state government of Selangor. Since its inception, they have created almost 500,000 jobs and more than 200 billion ringgit investments in the state.
Selangor State Exco for Investment, Trade, and Mobility, Ng Sze Han, promises that SIBS 2023 will be the largest and most exciting edition of this crucial regional business networking and thought leadership event. He also set a target of 1.5 billion ringgit in potential negotiated sales at the event.

Key to the event’s success was the display of the latest in medical & healthcare technology and methods. From state-of-the-art dental equipment to innovative pharmaceutical solutions, there was something for every medical professional.
Delegates from Malaysia, China, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, France, the United States, Singapore, Germany and India attended the Medical Expo.
