Dr Faisal Abdul Aziz

A practising dentist and partner at Nuffield Dental, Dr Faisal Abdul Aziz has spent much of his career focused on bringing quality dental care to the community. In GE2025, Dr Faisal makes his political debut with the People’s Action Party (PAP), contesting in Aljunied GRC.
His grassroots engagement recently drew attention when he defended the distribution of toothbrushes to residents, describing it as a practical and relatable way to encourage conversations about health and well-being.

Dr Hamid Razak

Dr Hamid Razak is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in trauma and fracture care. He previously served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital before moving into private practice at Total Orthopaedic Spine and Trauma Centre.
In the 2025 General Election, Dr Hamid is contesting West Coast–Jurong West GRC under the People’s Action Party (PAP). After nearly two years leading PAP’s ground efforts in Jurong Spring, he steps forward to run as a first-time candidate.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr Hamid has been involved in community work, including mentoring youth and supporting families from disadvantaged backgrounds. He shared that his experience volunteering in social service initiatives motivated him to enter politics, with a focus on advocating for families living on the margins in areas like Jurong.

Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi

Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi is the Medical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist at The Starfish Clinic of Psychiatry & Mental Wellness.
In the 2025 General Election, Dr Syed is contesting Nee Soon GRC under the People’s Action Party (PAP). He previously served as a Nominated Member of Parliament before stepping down ahead of his political candidacy.
Beyond clinical practice, he is active in the social sector, serving as President of Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (LBKM), a charity supporting educational bursaries and scholarships, and as Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Psychiatric Association. Dr Syed advocates for improving access to mental health services in the community and enhancing social mobility through greater accessibility to education.

Dr Ong Lue Ping

As a mental health professional – a Senior Principal Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Dr Ong Lue Ping worked with child and adolescent patients at the Child Guidance Clinic.
Beyond clinical work, he has volunteered as a Youth Court Panel Adviser, served on the Ministry of Education’s COMPASS (Community and Parents in Support of Schools) council, and participated in the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Alliance for Action on parenting. He also served for two years as a Voluntary Special Constable with the Singapore Police Force.
Dr Ong has been volunteering with the Workers’ Party since November 2023, assisting with Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS) and grassroots events. In the 2025 General Election, he is contesting Tampines GRC under the Workers’ Party (WP). This is Dr Ong’s first political candidacy.

Dr Michael Fang
Dr Michael Fang is a former medical doctor with the National Healthcare Group, where he practised from 2006 to 2009. Since then, he has focused on health and science education, serving as a lecturer and author.
In the 2025 General Election, Dr Fang is contesting Yio Chu Kang SMC under the People’s Alliance for Reform, representing the People’s Voice party. This is his first time standing as a political candidate.
